ReplyDeleteYour room looks so peaceful. Love the slipcovers and what a great armoire! I have two boys and some people think I'm crazy for having the light slipcovers. I don't think they realize it's not bad at all. They are so easy to toss in the wash and then they are as good as new. I am really enjoying your blog. I am so excited to read each new post!

ReplyDeleteHi Rie,
ReplyDeleteHave just called in for a visit for the first time from Marley and Lockyer. I have gone back to the start of your posts. Your home is gorgeous. You have done a wonderful job, not only on the inside but the outside of the house is gorgeous too. This type of house I dream about living in, lucky you!! You can never have too much white, I'm so crazy about white and linen, I think this look will never date and will always remain a classic. It must be a little difficult for you to leave, are you building or have you got your eye on another house?? Anyway will call in again soon.
Take care
Janine

ReplyDeleteWhat a homely, welcoming living room. Just gorgeous!! x
ReplyDeleteHello Rie - it looks very calm and happy-inviting! I haven't yet read who the handsome (or pretty) creature is relaxing on the sofa. Upon closer inspection, am I am noticing the telltale signs of a somewhat-more-crinkly left-sided-cushion favorite spot-in-the-sun?

I am coveting the dough bowl under your coffee table. Is it an antique?
ReplyDeleteI am new to your blog and love your style! Looking forward to getting to know you. Now a follower! :) Have a wonderful weekend and Valentines day!

Hi Rie
ReplyDeleteI love your blog and discovered you through Dreamy Whites ... I wish we lived close enough to move into your home! Would you mind telling me where your couch is from? It looks slipcovered and I am in the market for one ... I've seen a few, just cannot decide on which. I love your living room; the first pic looks like it is a page out of a magazine.
:)
Colleen
Rie, Thanks for getting back in touch. Alas, you are about an hour away from me : (. We used to live in that area many years ago, I really liked it. Your house has me ready to beg my hubby to move again...but I know we can't. You've done such a beautiful job decorating too, you should have no trouble selling...Good Luck.
ReplyDeleteTake Care, Carrie
Hi Rie,
ReplyDeleteFound my way to your blog from Maria's lovely blog Dreamy Whites, which I accidentally happened to come across just a few minutes ago.
I just LOVE your blog and all your inspiring photos!
Will be back again :)
Snowy and sunny greetings from The Netherlands!

Me too, just love the way you have put your blog together and I love the new living room.
ReplyDeleteYour pillow cover is on sale at PB - perhaps a backup is in order!
ReplyDeleteI love the new look. I wish my guy & I could make white slipcovers work. I will be writing a post about our inability sometime. We seem to have a way of spilling, leaving pens uncapped, and eating on the sofa as well. :P
