I wanted to share my new finds from TJ Maxx while they are still in the stores (I hope!).

First up... these lovely jars. You'll find them in the soap aisle (not the homewares section). They did come with two round soaps each.

But I had better plans to fill them with shells and feathers. They are part of our current mantlescape.
Another peek into our laundry room again. No, it's not finished yet.
But this darling apron has made its home here.
And this coming from a woman who isn't much into color.
Just like it was plucked out of Anthropologie, yes?

The jars are so pretty! Who would have thought in the soaps, something you could use after the soap was gone! Loving the funky apron! Its like a piece of art! God knows in this house an apron is not used!
ReplyDeleteI redid my laundry and did a post. It was so nice to finally finish it. Can't wait to see your laundry!
TJ Maxx absolutely rocks - hands down. The jars are lovely and the apron? Well, I want one. :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE that apron! I picked up something similar at an estate sale last week...and I love it. Great idea to have it in the laundry room. Jars are adorable too!
ReplyDeleteI think I need to make a quick stop at TJ Maxx after school today. Love the apron!

Oh, dear TJ Maxx!! Always a fun adventure. Love your finds!
ReplyDeleteFor as long as I've been reading blogs and seeing all the fabulous things that everyone gets from TJ Maxx, I can't believe I still have not been to one! It sounds like a treasure trove...even though I've decided to stop shopping for "stuff," I'm going to go this week...I need that apron!
ReplyDeleteStill can't wait to see your laundry room - I love the wall color.
Have a wonderful day! Sarah
I love your apron. I've been on the hunt for a really fun apron... probably will end up at anthropologie!
ReplyDeleteOh, goodness, I was just STEPS away from our local Homegoods yesterday and didn't go in! I was on the prowl for fabric and if I'd gone in to HG, an hour could have easily slipped through my fingers ~ darn! Lovely lovely find and you've made it even more beautiful with the shells.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday! xx P&H
Love the apron! What is the color of the wall in your laundry room? The soap jars are very nice. It is true that if you see something at TJMaxx, you better get it then and there or more than likely it will not be there later!

Love the jars and the apron.
ReplyDeleteYour words reminded me of what my granddaughters' say all the time. "You get what you get and don't throw a fit." Bet you could use those words with having alot of little ones, hah.
Love it all! Sure will be fun to see all your things in your laundry room.
ReplyDeleteThat apron is gorgeous! I love those jars as well. The script on them is so different. I probably would have passed them right by as I'm pretty short on imagination, that's why I love your blog. You are inspiring!
ReplyDeleteTJ Maxx...here I come!
ReplyDeleteThe jars and apron are darling! If I can find the jars...I am going to do the exact same thing...fill them with shells. Thanks for the inspiration!
Enjoy!
Cathy
TJMaxx is one of my haunts...I love it. I also love your laundry room!!
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, is smocking 'in' again? I used to put my daughter into smocked dresses until she rebelled, but something about it is so charmingly old-world and I love the 'stretch' it gives - it will make your waist look super-neat! We all need flattering clothes!
ReplyDeletelove the laundry room...can't wait to see the finished project!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the apron....does look like it came out of Anthro.
The TJMAXX sister store is called Winners(HomeSense) here in Canada, I used to drop over the line to Bellingham WA. to shop at TJMAXX , but now Winners has all we need. Like the US counterpart you have to buy when you see otherwise it is gone....it is all like eyecandy...everytime I go I have to remind myself not to covet. It is so hard though.
ReplyDeleteThey have the best stuff and the best prices at TJ Maxx!
ReplyDeleteGreat jars.
ReplyDeleteLove the apron you have in the laundry - sometimes the 'splash of colour' is just right
Alison
