Today I lined up the dining chairs outside in a sunny spot...

and tried out (for the first time ever) a fabric protector spray that promises to:
- repel stains
- spills
- and water.
Afterwards, I baked up some blueberry muffins with the girls.

And enjoyed munching them out on the porch... waiting for the spray to work its magic...

with the hope that one day, blueberries and white upholstery will peacefully coexist.

Let us know if this works because I have some white upholstery that needs some protecting because I too am a lover of blueberry muffins :)
ReplyDeleteAs we say in the Old Country - the best of British luck to you!
ReplyDeleteDreamer! The muffins look yummy!

ReplyDeleteLet us know if it works - I'd love to find a magic potion for stains!

I sure love those chairs!! And the little loveseat you have w/ them. Good luck w/ the fabric protector. I've given up & just gone w / slipcovers. My kids think chair seats are just another word for napkins they sit on......;)
ReplyDeleteYour home & yard look beautiful.....

I hope you'll give us a follow up report after the first spill. I, too, could use some trusty fabric protection.
ReplyDeleteNice chairs, I hope it works. It is for that reason I use slipcovers on my dinning room chairs and wooden ones in the kitchen. The muffins look yummy and that swing on the porch, how fun is that. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed for you and your chairs Rie.
ReplyDeleteYour kids look like they are having THE BEST childhood!

I'll be checking back for your pronouncement of thumbs up or thumbs down on this product! I have off-white slips that I put on my dining chairs in the summer months and it's always an oh-no moment when someone splashes a sauce or juice or even blueberry muffin crumbs on them! {Looks like the muffins were enjoyed by one and all : )} Cheers!
