  5. I HATE laundry........I don't enjoy one aspect of it all. The size of your laundry room is great. Enough space to move about. Enough light. I like the metal hanging thing in particular, what is it? good job! the room might even entice me to do a load, and maybe even fold it...I really appreciate your big room, mine is tiny tiny tiny.

  15. Wow ... I would love to be in there too! I especially love the counter (aka: the folding table.) Laundry is my favorite chore too. I just feel so "accomplished" when it all gets done. At least our part - now the putting away ... sometimes I wonder why my daughter even has a dresser!

  17. I don't mind washing and drying but folding is another story. I am really bad about taking it out of the dryer and dumping it on a chair in our bedroom.(It is just me and my husband) One time I let it pile up too much and my granddaughter ask me what I did with the green chair in my bedroom. She thought it was just a big pile of clothes. Oh, TMI, I hang my head in shame.

  48. Rie, I would do it all for you just to hang out in this room! It's as charming as the rest of your home. My laundry room is in the creepy dirt basement and I've been trying to get my husband on board for a redo - but to no avail. Now I'm more determined than ever! I will be borrowing the basket idea. :) And I love the hanging wire basket thing...wonder where I could find one of those?
Really...you've outdone yourself again - it looks like it's right out of Country Living- who by the way should pay you a visit. :)
    Enjoy your day ~

  62. How do you have six kids and time to be this amazing?? Well I was just curious how what method you used to fix the material under your laundry room sink? Is it able to shift to each side-Or is it fixed in postion! Thank you :)Heidi, CA

  63. Hi Heidi,
I'm not amazing. :) I actually just stapled the curtain to the wood counter (underneath). Call me lazy, but it worked just fine. It made an interesting scalloped pattern. :)
the fabric was split down the middle, so I could part either side to get behind it.
