Living with white. Oh the joy!
Such rest and relaxation it brings.
Calmness.

ReplyDeleteYes. Thank God for slip covers!

I have lots of chocolate lab hair so I had lots of white for that reason. How do you deal with it? Is it easy? I would love to have creamy white couches with lots of pillows but I can't imagine having them covered in pet hair. By the way, my big ol' dogs lay around just like your little kitties. So sweet.
ReplyDeleteAwww sweet photos Rie. I have a white himalayan teehee. I love the thought of her curling up on a chair, however, she is never to be found there, she loves to lay on my mantel?? and often she looks like she's sitting up on the side of a wall??? strange little kitty but so darn sweet. Cheers, Stacey
ReplyDeleteI have and love 2 labs, a cat and a cream slipcovered sectional. Thank goodness for slipcovers and front loaders!

I have a white cat and no white furniture...I feel your pain. You kinda have to forgive them when they look that cute!
ReplyDeleteSticky rollers! buy them at Costco in bulk! Very cute cats.
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Because of all the furbabies in my house I have shied away from the white I used to decorate with. I am just not sure I could keep up with it! As it is, I spend a good hour or so every weekend ridding our furniture of pet hair and have to vacuum every other day (if not every). Although, all the slipcovers I have seen lately have me thinking that would definitely be the route to go.

Awwwww, so sweet.
ReplyDeleteI have a simlar problem with dog hair!
I consider myself more of a dog person that a cat person...that was up until NOW! :) Thanks for sharing such a-d-o-r-a-b-l-e pictures!
ReplyDeleteSweeet..............here th same...but than dogshair......so lets joy it !!! hahahhahah!! ...love Ria...
ReplyDeleteI have avoided white for the same reasons as above. I have one gray cat, one black, gray, and grown tabby, and one black cat.
ReplyDeleteOf course, my fabrics are dark!

Adorable. Have you tried that new little thing that came out this year. It's a little roller that you just roll back and forth and it amazingly picks up the pet hair. It's great.
ReplyDeleteSweet photos! My sil has cats, colourful and patterned furniture, and cat hair too.
ReplyDeleteI love cats! I have always said that people who don't like them have never had one that loved them. They are so sweet to their owners. I had one that followed me around like a puppy. Sadly, my Gchildren are all allergic and now we are catless. I miss them so much. Not the hair though.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have white furniture... however, with my 3 dogs (2 labs and a mini dachshund), a husband and son... on 20 acres of farmland... doesn't work. I know they're washable but somehow anything white (or beige)seems to get stained with something.
ReplyDeleteThat said, I did just purchase and receive a slipcovered couch and chair - I just went with a sage green velvet. Doesn't show much and I can still remove them for cleaning!
Wow what a lovely home you have!!
ReplyDeleteWe have two white chairs in our living room, but with a dog who loves to relax in sofas and chairs, they are not always that white;)
What precious kitties! That last pic is too darling for words!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
Cathy

ReplyDeleteTwo of my favorite things - white slipcovers and cats.
ReplyDeleteI love me some kitties, I have to tell you! And I can totally relate to the 'hair factor'...ugh. Those pictures are the absolute sweetest. Reminds me it is so worth it. ;o)
