Photo Wall

For the first time, I’m doing a link-up with Lauren’s Pure Style blog.  Project #13 is all about wall hangings, and these family photos have waited way too long.  It’s been something I’ve been meaning to do and never got around to doing.  Thanks for the push Lauren!

I’ve been wanting to take some of my favorite family photos, turn them into black and white and blow them up to 8 by 10’s.

I finally did it!  I got some cheap white frames and mats from the big “W”, and sent my photos to the local drugstore to be printed.

It took maybe an hour of my time.  And now we’ll have a lifetime to enjoy the effort.

And yes, our piano moved once again.  See prior post about my “disease” and all will be made clear.

How's the shelf coming along that your hubby said he could build?? :)

  5. Great spot for them, and they look great! My sis and her family always crack jokes about things moving around here. Now I can tell them it's a disease :)

  10. These photo walls seem to be the topic in many blogs now.

I should also repaint one wall and do a photo/picture wall as we have collected so many photos, art, vintage signs etc. that it starts to be hard to fing good places for anything new anymore.

  12. Hi,

Love the black & white pics. It came out beautiful. We just did that in our dining room. I have three children and blew up beautiful pictures of their faces 11X14 in black & white. Put them in white frames.
Brings a smile everyday. Thank you for sharing.

  16. Makes me wish I had a lovely staircase to put pictures by! What is it about sorting through photos and getting them printed that is so difficult? I've been meaning to do it for months (years?!) but can't quite get to it.
