If you can get your hands on Southern Living’s November issue, DO! It’s superb… featuring two houses with decorating styles that are truly unique and inspiring. I can’t decide which one I like better. Can you?

Had fun visiting today...love the photos....what are the peachy objects hanging from the ceiling of the little girls room? Jennifer
ReplyDeleteWowzer! I love each picture! I especially love that.. entry way?? The teal coatrack perfect for little people! So cute! And that bulldog- so adorable! :)
ReplyDeleteOoh, if only I could mix house #1 and #2 together. Love them both. ;)

ReplyDelete~**~Love those homes!! Thanks for the info~*Hugs,Rachel~*~*
ReplyDeleteOh! Now I can't wait to read that magazine. It's been sitting on my coffee table patiently waiting. I was trying to save it for a Thanksgiving road trip. Now I don't know if that will happen!
ReplyDeleteDid you see the curtains in #1? they look easy enough to replicate. they contain canvas and burlap...I guess we are going to see those around eh?
ReplyDeleteI am loving Home 1 the most but Home 2 has a nice kitchen!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the heads up!
XO,
Jane

I think the two little girls are the perfect accents to a beautiful design.

House number 2 wins hands down, for me! I think I'll have to run right out and snag a copy of the magazine, though- you know, for research...
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting us know - So. Living isn't a magazine I usually check out for decorating ideas. I think I've been missing out!
ReplyDeleteI saw this issue and glanced through it. I don't normally buy Southern Living, but looking at your pics makes me think I need to get my hands on this issue. LOVE the little girls' room at the end of your post. As I recall, one of the little girls in that story was named "Tulip". (:
ReplyDeleteLove your blog! Thanks for the heads-up on Southern Living!
Amy
I prefer your house to either of them!
ReplyDeleteGreat inspiration! I really love your blog.

ReplyDeletebeautiful.
I just put up poor man's linen curtains in my living room and then stumbled upon your blog. I love it, and I placed an order with Hand and Cloth after reading about them on your blog. THen I forwaded it to my mother and she was put on their waiting list. Thank you for opening my eyes to such a wonderful company!
ReplyDeleteI'd say definately #2 but the rhino gives me pause. Maybe, maybe not. I do love #1's plate holder. So much to look at in both of the homes.
ReplyDeleteThey're both amazing...I think #2 if I HAD to choose!! They both have great style, but those fabulous animal print rugs put me over the edge...
ReplyDeleteHow funny that you mention this. When I was first thumbing through my issue, I saw these house and had to double check and see if the one house was yours! I think it was the curtains and all the white in House #1.
