I’m been window shopping cabinetry lately.
Just because I’m weird like that.
My favorite manufacturers come from England.
Specifically Plain English.
Have you heard of them?
I’ve caught glimpses of their work throughout the years.
And always loved what I saw.
Very simple.
Always Calm.
With Shaker influences.
No, they are not paying me to say this.
But if you are reading this Plain English...
Feel free! ;)

Their kitchens are truly astounding, but alas, I must be happy with IKEA. (: Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLooking at these pictures I cannot but agree with you. I'd love to have the stove shown in the picture with the light blue dish rack and the chandelier. I'm on my way to tour their web page.
ReplyDeleteRie- WOW- Beautiful kitchens and cabinets. We have a local cabinet man and if you show him what you want it can build it...and it is high quality work and built on the spot to fit specs. His prices are reasonable but sometimes you wait for a long time to get it done. Are you getting ready to re-do the kitchen? What fun it is to dream!!! xxoo Dian
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely with you--these cabinets are beautifully simple!
ReplyDeleteI recognize some of their work, but I never knew the company name. Thanks so much for sharing, Rie! If ever I'm doing a kitchen renovation, this company will for sure be my go-to!! (at least for inspiration). :)

ReplyDeleteLove every single picture you've shown here!! I especially love the farm table in the third photo!!
ReplyDeleteRie, I had to run right on over. I just perused The Lettered Cottage's latest ezine and I saw a simple cabinet makover that ended up looking just like these lovely babies. Check it out. It's on pages 42-43. I instantly thought of what (possibly inexpensive) elegance you could create in your new home. I mean, if you could survive white washing those floors this should be easy.
